Being a Second is more than just a collection of strengths. It's a way of being and seeing that defines some types of leaders. It's who they are. Seconds are often versatile enough that their true potential is untapped because they can serve as great contributors on any team. In Nathan Young and David Hartman's book, How to be Second, they bring the discovery of the identity of Seconds forward and define who these people are and why they are so integral to leaders. The research led to a book which birthed a community and is now a movement.

Chris Blaisdell has had an active role in the How to be Second (H2B2) community since realizing she is a Second. In her talk she will clear up several misconceptions between identities and roles and provide key indicators on how to recognize a Second - whether you are one, or you are a leader who needs one.
